UNC-Chapel Hill named EPA Grant Recipient for Stormwater Management Project

UNC-Chapel Hill was recently named a recipient of the 319(h) Grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for an ecological advancement project that will improve the quality of water in the runoff from campus.

Carolina in Sierra Club ‘Cool Schools’ Ranking

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill ranks 28th among more than 200 participating colleges and universities nationwide, according to the Sierra Club “Cool Schools” annual sustainability report.

New Lighting in Dogwood Parking Deck Will Significantly Reduce Energy Consumption

Facilities Services recently completed a comprehensive upgrade of the Dogwood Parking Deck’s lighting systems, replacing the high pressure sodium fixtures in the deck with new energy efficient LED (Light-Emitting Diode) lighting.

The Carolina Campus Community Garden Turns Greener
